CELIA | A-line Jewel Tulle Party Dress With Beading

I purchased this dress for my niece I was a little scared about purchasing a dress that I haven't seen in person but when I took it out the box the dress was absolutely perfect... It was gorgeous and my niece loved it...

I ordered a dress in size 12, it came very quickly and was beautiful except for one thing - it was way too long. I am 5 feet 5 and wear 3-4 inch heels but even then it was sweeping along the floor making it impossible to wear for a dance (I wanted it for a New Years Eve party) I contacted the company to ask if I could exchange it for a shorter one, this was approx a week before I wanted it, I was told this is possible and was given instructions on how to return it. I sent it recorded delivery (costing me £8.25) with £6 in coins inside the parcel for return postage to get it back to me in time for New Year. I had asked for 2 inches shorter and having thought about it i then sent a further e mail asking to have one 3 inches shorter rather than 2, it was then that the company started to tell me that it was not possible to do alterations. I mailed back saying I never mentioned alterations, but I had asked for a shorter one and was told this was possible. I was then told that they had said it was possible to exchange it, but not for a shorter one! in actual fact I don't think they read my original e mail in which I clearly started I wanted a shorter one. - luckily I had saved this and have forwarded it to them so they are aware of their mistake. I am now over £14 out of pocket in postage charges, in addition to the original £54 which I paid for the dress and postage, and I have had to go out and buy another one for New Years Eve. All in all not a very good experience, if they had told me in the first place I could not have one any shorter I would have just sent it back 2nd class and saved a lot of money and hassle, however I have asked and am hoping for a full refund. I really can't fault the dress though - I was gutted as it looked so good - but check the length before you buy!

Have used this company before and wasn't disappointed. Ordered three different dresses for size and style and kept one. Sent others back for refund and couldn't believe how prompt and efficient they were.. Will definitely be ordering in the future...Love this site....

The dress we ordered came with a stain on it and no tags. We were out of town when the dress arrived. When we returned and opened the package we were shocked to find the dress NOT in perfect condition. I called the retailer and they told me it was outside the 5 day return policy so they could NOT help us. I told them I just wanted to exchange the dress and they said they could not because they had no way of knowing if we wore it already. I explained that I wouldn't be asking for a replacement dress if I the dress had been worn. I WILL NEVER order from this website again. Beware!! Their customer service is awful!!

This prom dress is very pretty. When you put it on WOW! This dress makes me feel beautiful and I don't feel that way too often. Perfect. Thanks so much for such a nice dress at a very nice price!
